Central York Boys Basketball Team Advances To State Final

(Harrisburg, PA) -- For the first time in their history, the boys basketball team from Central York is advancing to the state finals. The privilege comes after their 79-65 win over the Reading Red Knights Tuesday in Lititz. Junior forward Ben Rill, who recently reached the milestone of getting a thousand points over his career, scored a game-high 28 for Central York. Senior forward Greg Guidinger, the Panthers' all-time leading scorer, had 22 points. The Panthers will face Parkland Saturday at 8 p.m. at Hershey's Giant Center.
